Abstract:

The main objective of the current paper is to study the facilities of public transport for both foreign tourists and Romanians. Bucharest is one of the most important eastern-European cities, and the tourist potential is in a continuous growth thanks to some unique tourist attractions. The key findings of this study are the analyzes of transport infrastructure in Bucharest: the urban public ways of transportation, private transporters and car rentals companies, air transport and other facilities of this kind available for tourists. This paper examines also the transport facilities dedicated exclusively for tourism activities like the Bucharest Official City Tour.
