Abstract:
eGovernment represents utilization of information and communication technologies by public administration (and in public administration) combined with organization change and new abilities in order to improve public administration and democratic process and in order to strengthen the support to public policies. Applying technologies for providing public services, however, does nnot automatically mean improving quality of these services and thus paying off of the used financial resources. It is, therefore, necessary to apply methods of production quality management as it is standard in profit organizations. Only in such a way it is possible to verify whether implemented eGovernment tools really serve to the eGovernment goals.
