Abstract:

High quality, reliability and affordable price are expected from the products and services offered on the market. Modern defense products - defined as armaments and military equipment - are required to function reliably in difficult and changing environmental conditions, to cooperate within command and fire control systems, and to modify and modernize. The article presents the approach to the issue of functioning of a quality management system in an enterprise in the context of ensuring the quality of defense products. In addition, the article defines the concept of a defense product, the characteristics of the quality procedures in NATO and the specifics of the Allied Quality Assurance Publication (AQAP) standards.
