Abstract:

This pilot study explores the impact of several factors on passenger satisfaction with public transport services. This article’s main purpose is to analyze the quality of the subway transportation services and the impact it has on the satisfaction of the travelers. For this reason, data obtained from primary sources was used, represented by 147 respondents, through a simple and random sampling method. After framing and testing six hypotheses, it could be emphasized that the subway transportation services are the most appreciated among all ways of public transportation in Bucharest because of the high speed and comfort. The only inconvenience is the bigger price, compared to the surface transportation.
