Abstract:

Cloud computing is a modern mean that offers high complexity solutions comparing to the traditional calculation center. A major advantage for the beneficiary is the fact that the cloud services provider is directly responsible in the acquisition and maintenance of the infrastructure. Within this work we have initiated a quantitative research which has targeted the identification of the advantages and disadvantages perceived by the employees from Romania regarding the cloud services that they use in their current activity, inside of the company where they professionally activate. The study has been conducted among 315 respondents, through the sample survey. The survey was posted on an online platform that would allow the potential respondents to access it during the entire period assigned to data collecting, regardless of the time of the day or the device from which it was accessed. The results were presented to major coporations activating in the field of IT services.
