Quantum Classification in the Risk Assessment of the Credit Sales

Abstract:

The article presents an example of data classification in the risk assessment of the credit sales. Firstly, the classical data is converted to the form of quantum states, and then the classification is performed with the use of two different quantum circuits: the variational circuit, and the SWAP-test. The variational circuit works with qubits, and the SWAP-test is generalized for qudits. This generalization allows simplifying the circuit’s structure while the correct classification is preserved. Both approaches need relatively small number of qudits to solve the tasks, so they are very prospective for the physical quantum realization (especially for qubits) in the nearest future.
