Abstract:

Our paper deals with Question Answering Arabic system based on Passage Selection. It is a system that takes natural language questions expressed in the Arabic language and attempts to provide short answers.  The system consists of many modules, which depend on each other’s, so each one will take its input from the previous module, and then it gives its output to be an input to the next module.

In order to test our system, we use a collection of 16 documents, using 100 questions. The system accuracy was 85%.
