Abstract:

In this paper, we present QuICkeR, a hybrid method for web-based systems usability evaluation. This method enables quick, unmoderated and re-mote usability testing. We also present implementation of QuICkeR and a case study - an experimental evaluation of this method and another usability testing method. We propose a measure to compare the efficiency of different usability methods and compare QuICkeR with the standard expert evaluation. We also discuss the application of the proposed method and its future development.
