Ratio Analysis of the Residential Property Market Using the City of Olsztyn

Abstract:

There are special considerations present on the real estate market which affect the housing demand. The most important groups of such factors include general economic, legal and financial, and demographic factors. This study analysed the factors that affect the residential property market using the city of Olsztyn as an example. Indices were defined for this article which characterise the local factors affecting the residential property market and an analysis was conducted of the cause and effect relationships between the defined indices. This study can be used as analytical material for analysts, consultants and investors interested in investing in the residential property market in Olsztyn.
