R&D Institutions Paradigm Shift: Integrated Information Management System

Abstract:

The nowadays research institutions regardless their expertise or geographical location are more likely to be considered business partners. The biggest problem for an Integrated Information Management System for R&D institutions is not the complexity of the applications but the restrictiveness of the Intellectual Property issues that may emerge on different stages of the activity and can significantly jeopardize the managerial integrative solution. This pilot-study reveals the main aspects on defining, creating and running an integrated information management system for R&D Institutions aiming to settle the pillars of a strategic integration between innovation and entrepreneurship.
