Abstract:
The problem of finding a balance between production and trade remains as complicated as it is important in the context of state regulation. In this regard it is necessary to identify the institutional peculiarities typical of the formation and development of the regional economy’s sectoral structure, as well as the degree of their impact on its effectiveness in general. The evaluation showed that , in the context of improving trade and industrial policies, the key references defining operational rules for the sectors of the regional economy and defined as principles of harmonization of production and trade, would provide the basis for the concept of a balanced approach to the sectoral structure of the regional economy. Adherence to the principles of implementation of the systematic approach as outlined in the article can be considered an important requirement for the successful fulfillment of the concept of a balanced sectoral regional policy.
