Reconciling of Work and Family Life of Mother with Employee Status

Abstract:

The issue of employing women with maternity, respectively parental responsibilities relating to childcare is still a frequently discussed topic today. Women, especially in the position of mothers, do not have a simple return to work, but they do not want to neglect their parental responsibilities at the expense of work. The paper summarizes the tools for reconciling work and family life that the mothers of children can use when choosing to return to work. We analyze and compare the various flexible forms of work performance that are admitted and regulated by national legislation (legislation of the Slovak republic) and we are considering the appropriate form of work depending on the age of the child.
