Recreational Potential of the Southern Urals and Improving the Quality of Life

Abstract:

The relevance of the research is due to the need to strengthen the resource potential of the information economy of the XXI century. The contradictory development of globalization processes determine the increase in the theoretical and practical significance of the category of Quality of Life. Modern regions differ significantly in terms of natural and climatic conditions, even in the era of globalization, very different opportunities for maintaining the health of the population and recreation of economic resources can be formed. The aim of the work is to improve the methodology and tools for improving the Quality of Life based on the development of the recreational potential of a region. The prospects of improving the Quality of Life based on the formation of a recreational cluster in the region, the rational use of climatic features and unique natural resources of the Southern Urals are studied. Identified opportunities to improve the Human Development Index and Better Life Index through health promotion, increase in life expectancy. The natural and climatic conditions of the natural wealth of the region and the use of natural water resources are studied.. The necessity of institutional changes in the status of specially protected territories of the region, the implementation of targeted programs within the framework of the formation of a recreational cluster is justified. Methods of situational analysis, expert assessments, modeling, statistical data, field research, and publications in the open press were used.
