Reengineering in the Process of Company Restructuring

Abstract:

Nowadays, management is becoming more and more sophisticated. It is the result of various circumstances, which one may synthesize and narrow down to ever increasing changeability and complexity of the world. Management has been currently considered as one of the most important factors of economic and social development in countries [St. Sudoł 2016]. Today, it is crucial for companies to apply modern processes that directly influence the functioning and efficient management of a company. Enterprises must operate as dynamic organizations that exhibit great responsiveness to changes in their environment. The market situation requires or even forces application of advanced methods, auxiliary techniques, information improved through processing, strategic decisions, as well as complex process-related changes in the company. Among such solutions, one may distinguish reengineering as the subsystem of modern management; its implementation, combined with the decentralization of process and decision-making competences, is to increase the effectiveness of an organization.
