Abstract:

The growing complexity of innovation processes in a region calls for a wide range of methods to develop innovation policies with due consideration of all involved actors' interests. One of the most efficient ways to improve the effectiveness of innovation policies is a foresight approach, which is applied nationally, at a sectoral level, regionally and corporately. Moreover, foresight is fostered by growing uncertainty of the external environment.
