Relational Capital and the Results of an Enterprise’s Innovative Activity on the Example of IT Enterprises

Abstract:

Currently, the survival of organizations and entire economies increasingly depends on their innovative character. One of the factors that is undoubtedly associated with the innovativeness of an organization is its intellectual capital, which consists of structural capital, human capital and relational capital, and the third one is the subject of this article. In recent years, researchers are more and more often  focusing their research on the role that relational capital plays in shaping the innovativeness of an enterprise, however, there are fewer works that examine the impact of the internal and external relational capital of a company on its innovativeness, hence the purpose of this article is to present this relationship. In this work, the author will present some of the results obtained during a broader study on the factors influencing the innovative maturity of IT enterprises in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland.
