Abstract:

This work discuss the concept of use of an eye tracker in the role of a sensor of human gaze in a social robot. The prior motivation is to establish a solid base for development of joint attention competency in a robot. The concept is presented against the background of related solutions. The discussion is conducted from two perspectives: Human- Robot Interactions (HRI) and User Experience (UX).
