Abstract:
Purpose: Among the issues concerning the implementation of sustainable development, the recovery of the economy and education after the Covid-19 pandemic and the strengthening of gender equality and the position of women in the economy are currently important. The article presents selected aspects of remote working during the COVID-19 pandemic and prospects for the future development of this form of working.
Design/methodology/approach: The article presents the results of two studies conducted in 2021 and 2023. The first one concerned the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and remote working on the professional and personal lives of young women and men. The second one was conducted among 350 small and medium-sized Polish enterprises. It aimed to explore attitudes towards the use of remote working by employees and concern for their psychological well-being. The results were compared with reports and other studies.
