Remuneration Transparency in a Teal Organisation on the Basis of a Company Representing IT Industry – Case Study

Abstract:

Today’s organisations function in changeable, unpredictable and uncertain conditions, which is a big challenge for owners, managing staff and employees. A teal organisation, described in F. Laloux’s book “Reinventing organisation”, may be perceived as a  chance for successful and effective functioning in the VUCA world. Answering the question: why remuneration transparency politics is implemented in a teal organisation, becomes a research problem. The article’s goal is identification and analysis of remuneration transparency of teal organisation’s employees. Single embedded study was a qualitative research strategy used to realise the research aim. Research information was collected with the use of the following research methods: interviews, documents’ analysis and audiovisual materials’ analysis. Research was conducted in one of teal organisations, HighSolutions Ltd. representing IT industry. Remuneration transparency is the essence of teal organisations, moreover, it brings a lot of benefits both for organisation, as well as for its members.
