Abstract:

The paper aims to analyze the legislation in the field of rural tourism in Romania, Italy and France and to highlight how the legislative system in the mentioned countries supports this type of tourism. All three analyzed countries have their own a heterogeneous geographic area with multiple landscapes, where rural areas are well defined, and agriculture plays an important role in current activity. Although in Italy and France agritourism has deep roots and ancient traditions, Romania has been experiencing this type of tourism for several years now, requiring a more active involvement of the state and the other actors in this field.
