Abstract:
The paper aims to analyse the links between various restructuring processes in the society and the way they can interact. The paper is focused on the restructuring of a State agency in response to market evolution and some of the effects such process generated for the sector of scrap iron and non-ferrous metal collection, with view on one of the players acting in this market. The methodology used is based on comparative, historical and logical research tools but also qualitative research such as interviews with the subject group. The results of the paper point out the relevance of the rules and principles underlying the restructuring process, the crisis management and the importance of the leadership during the crisis, effects and interaction between institutional and private restructuring.
