Retention Model Of Knowledge Management

Abstract:

Every organization requires specific knowledge to perform their unique processes and tasks. Expert systems have been used to capture and help the automated performance-based knowledge storage. Specific knowledge is a major driver in building and maintaining the organization’s systems for narrowing areas of performance expertise instead of broaden its usage. The objective of this work is to validate the empirical Knowledge Retention Model as a function used to capture and retain the embedded knowledge within each specific knowledgeable worker. The model has been transformed from one state to another. The model organizes knowledge flows and designs the overall process chart of a job. This study will primarily identify the knowledge factors and skill factors from the group of experts and validate the knowledge retention model.
