Abstract:

With the increased use of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, the Smart Airport concept has recently become an important topic that is often included in both academic research and industrial environments. The fourth industrial revolution deeply affected all industries and quickly brought about significant technological changes. The paper offers view on Industry 4.0 technology as it is becoming crucial part of modern aviation systems and reviews current state of the art Smart Airport technologies as tools for future airport development.
