Abstract:

Risk management is an important component in project management. In the case of research projects and investment projects, risk management must be approached rigorously from the stage of preparing the grant application and the related annexes. Thus, identifying risks, establishing the degree of associated risk, and establishing risk mitigation and mitigation measures are key elements to be addressed in project proposals.
The aim of the paper is to develop a risk profile for the implementation of research projects and an evaluation approach in order to determine the degree of risk. Such risk profile has been applied in this paper to a research project proposal.
Furthermore, the risks associated with projects in research were evaluated and measures to combat and reduce identified risks were proposed.
