Risk Manager as a Creator of the Company’s Project Maturity

Abstract:

Economic organizations restructure themselves in different areas. Restructurings can refer to the structure of capital, production, and also management. The implementation of the strategy of risk management is one of the forms of restructuring the management of the organization. Complex action for the benefit of lowering risk leads to an increase in the reliable functioning of the organization, and thus ensures its safety. The article presents theoretical considerations and empirical research of risk manager role in the enterprise as a creator of project maturity. A risk manager was mentioned as a constructor of the risk map and a creator of risk response strategies in the enterprise. His overall responsibilities – not depending on a type of the project – as well as his detailed tasks coming from a specificity of the processes in the project were discussed. The risk manager in the enterprise identifies specific risks, depending on a size of the project, a type of the structure, a specificity of the technology site and an economic environment. It was underlined that there are unique natures of the risk of particular processes in the project what requires an individual approach and specific risk management tools. However, they must create one coherent system. The necessity of taking into account the phenomenon of the risk in the management projects was underlined.
