Robust Information Hiding in Digital Image

Abstract:

Information-hiding techniques have recently become important in a number of application areas. Digital video and images are increasingly associated with distinguishing but imperceptible marks, which may contain a hidden copyright
notice or serial number to prevent unauthorized copying directly. In this paper, an implementation of secure data embedding scheme in images is proposed. This scheme uses the advanced encryption slandered (AES) and error correction techniques to secure data before embedding this data in a cover image. The implementation is designed as layered system. In the data hiding layer an overview of the most common data hiding techniques, namely least significant bits
(LSB), discrete cosine transform (DCT) and discrete wavelet transform (DWT) are given. Simulation results using (AES) for data encryption and one of the above data hiding techniques will be introduced. The robustness, imperceptibility and capacity for each technique are demonstrated via simulation results using different types of attacks.
