Abstract:

Economic transformation connotes sustainable and inclusive development, which includes the changes in the structures of the economy in favour of more productive sectors to ensure consistent economic progress (Tan, 2005). The effects of transformation are numerous: it includes trade competiveness, industrialisation, human capital development to foster innovation and creativity, improved financial sector development and technology.
