Abstract:
Through economic integration we are referring to a complex process, characteristic to the contemporary step of society development which consists in essence in intensifying the interdependence among different states, process which is conditioned by an assemble of factors of which an important part is the technical-scientific revolution. This concept is best seen in the European Union out of which Romania is a member of since January the 1st 2007. In this article I want to analyze if Romania since entering the European Union did integrate on an economical level or not by comparing a series of the country’s indicators to the ones in some developed member states. If not I will identify the problems Romania has and propose several solutions in order to achieve this faster.
