Abstract:
A sound economical environment with a stable flow of incoming taxes is feed by a healthy and quite large number of active, prosperous and innovative SME's. Romania is well heading into the second program of European funding and moving further and further from the effects of the 2008 crisis. As part of a wider research on Romanian SME's over the last 5 years, our paper presents some of the findings regarding how oriented they are toward performance and what are their managerial priorities. The data cover the period 2013-2015 and looks at trends and dynamics in an attempt to understand where action is most likely needed and provide modern means and methods to improve future efficiency and effectiveness.
