Abstract:
This article refers to chain competitiveness, trying to answer the question which of its stage is more competitive than the others. In pursuing this question, data have been gathered from an economic agent who has integrated activities of producing grapes and processing them into wine. For estimating competitiveness, several indicators have been calculated, in each of the chain stages – profit, costs, yields, total expenses and their structure, revenues etc. The outcome indicates that the highest profit returns from the grapes’ processing stage, and less from their producing.
