Abstract:
Today's highly competitive environment forces companies to pay attention to the needs of quality and safety. Quality management in companies is the main element of technical control and the crucial factor for stable economic growth of organizations and companies. It is a much broader topic affecting almost all business processes. This article presents the authors' opinion regarding the relationship that exists between quality management, safety management (with human resources) and the impact of this relationship on the sustainability of the business. The proposed conceptual models can help companies to improve of business efficiency and understanding of the relationship between the practices. The quality management system is related with safety management system through procedures, safety standards and checklists. Safety standards and working practices are an integral part of work organization, working practices determine the required consumption of work time.
