Abstract:

The aim of the article is to present what benefits for the entity result from the implemented quality management system in organization accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard and whether having such a system is about organizational security and is effective protection against threats related to its functioning. The fact that the implementation of the system is voluntary, there are no statistical data in Poland that would indicate how many organizations such systems have implemented. The article presents also how the ISO 9001:2015 standard indicates the directions of action for organizations that have implemented a quality management system in the context of knowledge management and employee competence.
