Science Parks and their Relationship with Universities ─ Challenges and Opportunities Case: Győr First Science Park

Abstract:

For half a century numerous countries have established science parks and/or technology districts. Science parks are generally established with the aim to strengthen science and technology relations to universities. A science park operates as an incubator for small- and medium sized enterprises, it is a place to share knowledge and consequently, the cooperation between universities and science parks contributes to the promotion of economic growth in the region or city where the science park is created.
