Abstract:

File storage with cloud services has many advantages, starting from global access to the documents through redundancy, ending at ease of development of new solutions using such service. The main disadvantage is the centralization of storage service resulting in possible censorship, mutable character of stored data, and loss of access to it due to the malfunction of the cloud service provider. In this paper we are proposing a secure decentralized file storage framework, which is based on IPFS, ensuring data redundancy, confidentiality and integrity. For further decentralization, transparency of the process and ease of integration we proposed the use of web3 cryptography.
