Abstract:

In the publication, the author tried to draw attention to the need for continuous improvement of skills and awareness of information security, systems and information networks without which it would be difficult to function in the current world. The impact of modern IT solutions is present at every turn no matter where you are, whether at home, work, the office or on vacation. With the advancement and development of modern IoT technologies that support human work or large IT systems such as Smart City, it is important to be cautious in terms of security, because in the 21st century many wars are fought in the so-called cyber space. The problems brought by the digital transformation pose challenges for the next years of the 21st century. The publication is based on a review of literature and reports on information security, but also possible risks and how to secure data. The conclusion of the publication is to emphasize the need for continuous improvement of skills and the search for personalized competence in the area of cybersecurity.
