Security In The Extended Black Sea Region

Abstract:

The Extended Black Sea Region is a complicated area of ​​geopolitical and geo-economical border and a meeting place for three security complex: the Euro-Atlantic, ex-Soviet and Middle East. The problem of security and stability of this region was placed between the fundamental interests of all countries in the region and the great state actors.

The diversity of the peoples and the inequalities on natural resources or infrastructure between the various states may constitute an obstacle for harmonious economic development of the entire region. Currently, it is no secret that the region became an area of ​​unresolved conflicts, rivalries and vulnerable border.

The solutions of the problems in this region can not be held in check only by a single state or non-state actor. We consider that the states from the Extended Black Sea Region and the international organizations have the power to establish own framework for creating the mechanisms cooperation in order to help at the economic development and realize bridges in various areas which contribute to the improving regional and international security climate.

In the article, we wish to emphasize that the economic development and maintaining security are key modalities on which the international organizations can use them in order to ensure the stability and prosperity of the Extended Black Sea Region.
