Abstract:

The article presents information activities in the Polish Armed Forces, conducted by Territorial Defense Forces (TDF) units in the coronavirus epidemic outbreak era. They are presented in the context of image-building activities of an individual unit; then, there are made analyses and generalizations, which are original recommendations for further activities.

To some extent, the article reflects the usefulness of military actions in the event of a crisis and other manifestations of danger. Based on the image-related activities, the anti-crisis operation code-named "Resilient Spring" was presented, along with an analysis of the 14th West Pomeranian Territorial Defense Brigade's participation. The recommendations for building a positive image of the Territorial Defense Forces in the future were also suggested. The experience gained in the special, challenging conditions of the epidemic, or cooperation with other uniformed services, allowed proposing new activities of shaping the Armed Forces' image as a formation serving the society in times of peace.
