SMART University in Digital Learning Space

Abstract:

The relevance of the study of the processes of digitization of higher education is dictated by the urgent need to adapt university education to the requirements of the times. The demand of the modern labor market for academic, research and corporate organizations is aimed at increasing the potential of the learning environment through new educational, organizational and management digital technologies. The aim of this study is a comprehensive assessment of all components of modern SMART University: digital management, digital organization of the educational process, digital educational programs. The research identifies the priorities of the use of information and computer technologies in the life of the university and proves the possibility of preserving the traditions of higher education, expanding educational paths, accessibility and continuity of university education through digital technologies. Virtual objects in digital learning environments bring together the university educational programs and practical activities. The article identifies the obstacles and difficulties of full implementation of digital technologies in the system of higher education, evaluates the best practices, and contributes suggestions on improvement and activation of the process.
