Abstract:

This paper review is dedicated to the employment issues of the sight-disabled persons (SDP). In Russia, this category of citizens uses two paths in searching for a job: an open labor market and jobs provided by the All Russia Association of the Blind (VOS). The current situation shows that there are significantly less opportunities to find a job for such people than for people who do not have vision limits. This is due to both the stereotypes of the society in respect of the blind, and the need for employers to create special conditions to use the labor potential of people with disabilities. The analysis of the VOS website for 2016-2018 showed that there is a problem with the number of the vacancies. The paper review provides the rationale for evidence of the need to create a tripartite model for employment for SDP: the Government non-governmental organizations social entrepreneurship
