Abstract:

Social media has arrived in many small and medium-sized companies. More and more organizations are taking advantage of the benefits and are increasingly using social media. However, activities in SMEs vary greatly and are not yet equally pronounced everywhere.

On the one hand this is based on the fact that there is no know-how about the possibilities of social media activities. On the other hand this is based on the fact that there are no resources.

Successful social media activities help many companies increase sales and awareness. These are just two of the possible benefits of using social media. On the other hand, there are also many risks that social media can cause.
