Abstract:

In modern socio-economic conditions, the state needs an active social policy; for this purpose, project technologies are used in many countries. Social project planning is directly related to the social sphere, being an instrument for overcoming various social problems. The article analyzes volunteering in Russia. The authors suggest using social project planning technology in the educational process as a way to attract students to social activities, combining the process of formation and development of competencies with the implementation of various social projects. The author offered the definition of «social project planning». The main areas of volunteering are described depending on the training area. The article describes the relationship between the content of the stages of a social project and the competencies that can be formed at each stage of the project.
