Abstract:

The article discusses the main goals, objectives, stages of work at socio-psychological support of students with disabilities and persons with limited health capabilities in higher education institutions. The experience of the Chuvash State Agricultural Academy in the socio-psychological support of students with disabilities and people with limited health capabilities is considered. The article presents research materials on the social adaptation of students with disabilities and with limited health capabilities. It is shown that to improve work with students with disabilities is to create special conditions at higher education institutions. Attention is drawn to the fact that the socio-pedagogical support of students with disabilities and persons with limited health capabilities include such forms of assistance and other forms of work as  described in the plan of socio-psychological support.
