Socio-Technical Aspects of Requirements-Driven Collaboration (RDC) in Agile Software Development Methods

Abstract:

Requirements engineering is a collaborative process carried out by mutual cooperation and coordination of stakeholders. Requirements-Driven Collaboration in case of Agile Methods becomes crucial and foremost especially for geographically distributed teams. The socio-technical aspects of design are studied in literature similarly this paper explores the socio-technical aspects of Requirements-driven Collaboration in Agile software development. In this study a social factor based model for collaborative requirements engineering is formulated. The contribution of this paper is to introduce a model for analyzing social aspects of requirements driven collaboration in Agile methods.
