Abstract:

CBSE (Component-Based Software Engineering) or CBD (Component-Based development) is a methodology that emphasizes the design and construction of computer based systems using reusable software components (software component assembly). The goal of the assembly is to reach a coherent application from a set of software components. In
this context the choice of component is one of the key factors for successful development of such application.

In this paper we present a method enabling the evaluation of software components quality. This method allows us choosing the best component in term of quality (non-functional needs).
