Abstract:

In manufacturing companies, the use of new IT technologies allows for comprehensive modelling of processes and task implementation using advanced virtualisation methods. They constitute an integrating element between design support systems used so far, ERP class software and production optimisation systems (MES Manufacturing Execution Systems) enabling the creation of digital factories.
