Abstract:
Issues related to space management (also recognized as spatial policy) translate into a number of attractive research issues. Key issues in this context include spatial order protection, the role of spatial planning in integrated development planning, adaptation of space management to the ever-changing role of cities (and urban policy principles), or the way to reconcile different - even from the perspective of scientific disciplines - perspectives related to the perception of priorities and directions of spatial policy. The COVID-19 pandemic, however, generates additional problems that also need to be included in the spatial context.
