Abstract:

Waste management must be able to serve all waste generation. This is needed to avoid the potential environmental impact of residual waste that is not transported. However, in 2017 Sukmajaya District, Depok City has a level of waste collection and transport rates only 47% are served. This research aims to identify the pattern of illegal landfill for improvement of waste management. Data collection in this study was carried out using secondary data from government agencies, interviews, and field surveys. This research was conducted using one of the spatial analysis tool namely distance analysis tools such buffer analysis and euclidean distance analysis. The results showed that Sukmajaya district had 4 legal landfill sites and 123 illegal landfill sites. Illegal landfill found to be exist near secondary and tertiary, near river and shrub class of landuse, and area with high density population.
