Abstract:
The main objective of the paper is to evaluate the teenagers' leisure time spending at the Aupark Shopping Center in Košice and the selected aspect of shopping behavior and shopping preferences of teenagers. The sample of respondents was determined to be 100 teenagers aged 12 to 19. For the survey, we chose the Aupark Shopping Center located in the city center. To achieve the aim we have created three hypotheses. Research has shown that teenagers visit the Aupark Shopping Center very often in Košice not only for shopping, but also for spending their leisure time in it. We have tested three statistical hypotheses in the article. We studied the statistically significant difference between time spent in Aupark Shopping Center in Košice among teenagers by gender, the difference in time spent in the Aupark Shopping Center in Košice between teenagers aged 15 and over 15, the difference in preferred days during the week or weekend to spend time at Aupark Shopping Center in Košice between teenagers living in Košice and outside Kosice. All three hypotheses have been confirmed.
