State Support Programs and its Role in the Sustainable Development of Small Business

Abstract:

The article, based on the generalization of research experience, which determines the role of the state in regulating of the small businesses activities, identifies different points of view on the degree of participation / non-participation of the state, which can be based on various principles of support and on the role of the subject of its impact. The presented approaches position the small businesses as a passive object of influence, which contradicts the conditions of sustainable development. The correlation-regression analysis was carried out to assess the support of the state and to identify the dependence of the development level of small enterprises in Russia on some of its elements. The results of the analysis testify to the low effectiveness of state support for small business in Russia, which requires the formation of a fundamentally different format of interaction.
