Abstract:
Tourism services are one of the most important segments of national economies and markets worldwide. According to data published by the World Tourism Organization, tourism is one that provides most jobs in the world; it plays an important role because of its positive effects on gross domestic product but also the creation of new jobs. For this reason, we proposed in this paper to analyze the competitiveness of Romanian tourism, indicators that determine the evolution of tourism in Romania. The purpose of this investigation is materialized in the realization of a SWOT analysis of tourism in Romania and proposals to increase the competitiveness of Romanian tourism destinations.
